A great little bit of New England serendipity in this off-the-beaten-path destination. If nothing else, it offers an area of quiet tranquility. We were the only ones there and it was a pleasant walk around the boulder area. The boulder itself is impressively large. Worth the brief wayside.

Cool place, did not disappoint. This is the biggest rock I have ever seen. The kids complained the whole drive but had a great time once we got there, they were even asking to go back again. Recommend it!!

Cool place....usually nobody there the times I have gone there....

One of the biggest glacial erratics in the world, and an easy walk from where you park. It towers 37 feet in the air, and is 87 feet long, and they say that's only part of the rock, much of it is underground! Worth a visit, no fee.

We enjoyed the short walk to the boulder. It's something to see if you are interested in geology. If not, it's still a cool big rock!!
